A Nossa Casa
Kiln Cottage is a detached house in a quiet country lane, with friendly neighbours. 3 double bedrooms with double beds, 1 single bedroom (contains single bed plus cot and changing unit for a baby) and 2 separate bathrooms. Lounge with gas fire, tv etc, Study/sewing room with laptop computer (WiFi access) with patio doors to the conservatory which overlooks the back garden (which has been landscaped) and a separate dinning room. Kitchen with washer/dryer, double oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher etc. Gas central heating. In out gravel drive with plenty of parking (up to 6 cars). Car is highly recommended. Aspect is overlooking farmland.
There is a studio apartment behind the garage (unoccupied) but not included in the exchange unless specifically required.
O Nosso Bairro
Kiln Cottage is situated in a single country lane just outside the villages, which have many old country pubs, of Chalfont St Peter and Chalfont St Giles (where John Milton lived and wrote Paradise Lost), close to Mayflower Barn and Jordans Meeting House, home of William Penn and Quaker cemetry. London West End Shopping, Theatres and Restaurants only 45 minutes by train. This area and the countryside around are part of the Chilterns 'Area of outstanding Natural Beauty' within 25 miles of London. Close road links to M4, M40 and M25 both Oxford and Cambridge are easily accessible. Car transport is recommended.
The property also has studio accommodation on the ground floor, consisting of living room with trundle bed, with patio doors leading to the garden, kitchenette and wetroom. The annexe is not included in the exchange unless specifically requested.

Os Nossos Destinos
Australia. My daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren (2) live and work in Sydney. I try to get out at least once a year for a month or so. I am always interested in an exchange in Australia, within 1 hours travel to Sydney.
I would also like to house swap in California. The idea is to meet half way between UK and Australia. It would be ideal to swap for 3-4 weeks. I am thinking late summer 2013, but could be flexible.
In USA we would appreciate a home that is child friendly. Primarily it would be myself, joined by my family from Oz and my other daughter and her partner. 5 adults plus 2 children.

Sobre Nós
This has been my family home for over 20 years, both my daughters were raised here. My name is Sue (widowed), my daughters now live in Birmingham and Sydney (Australia). It has been a very happy home with loads of involvement with animals, at one time we had 3 horses and 3 dogs, sadly all gone now. I am a retired IT project manager, apart from my family, my interests now include golf, travel, restaurants.
